Job description

For one of our client, a private bank in Geneva, we are looking for their future Junior Risk Manager to join an intercultural team of 6 people. You will be in charge of:

  • Support in management of Internal Control System ("ICS") and the development of the control framework

  • Handling of the Risk Indicator reporting of the Bank

  • Independent undertaking of risk- or credit-specific projects, including reporting to line managers

  • Adopting the Bank risk framework and increasing risk-specific knowledge

  • Risk Control Self-Assessment ("RCSA") support

  • Operational Organisation Meeting ("OOM") secretary

  • Treasury Risk Reporting (incl. Risk Cockpit handling)

  • Monthly Reporting (incl. Risk Cockpit handling)

  • Quarterly Reporting (incl. Risk Cockpit handling)

  • Concept Cadre des Risques & indicator administration

  • Annual Operational Risk Report

  • Annual Limit overview and approval

  • Counterparty review and limit approval

  • LTV calculation (regular updates and ad-hoc requests)

  • Support in team administration

  • RCSA support

  • OOM secretary

  • 2nd line control administration (cash-till check Geneva, country risk assessment, call-back, economic groups)

Job requirements

  • Master degree completed (ETH, HEC or EPFL)

  • Strong command of one official language of Switzerland (additional language a plus)

  • Strong command of English

  • Strong background in Finance or Mathematics/Physics

  • Programming knowledge in SQL a strong asset
